In his own words

I am a sinner saved by the great grace of God in Christ Jesus. My single aim has been to seek the glory of God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I have been tremendously privileged in my life to study a great variety of subjects at high levels, but the greatest study of all is God's word. I have very little to offer you except the very word of God. I do not believe that modern science nor modern philosophy has achieved anything of value, and neither of these two intellectual pursuits can contend with what God has to say.

As far as experience in this world is concerned, I speak from a scientific background in a professional sense — I gained a 1st class honours in Materials Science, a PhD in Chemistry, and an MA in Theology and Christian Leadership — and I have worked as a science teacher (qualified with a PGCE from Northumbria University) and in research in industry.

My single goal has been to demonstrate that in Christ are to be found all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:2–3), for He — and He alone — is the author of this world and of our salvation from sin and destruction.
